Moustache
Handlebar, Cop Stache, Fu Manchu, Musketeer, Pencil Thin. It's all good.
Facial hair grown above the lip only with no other facial hair on the chin or cheeks. Small sideburns that function as a part of one’s hair style and do not connect to the mustache are allowed.
A. Natural -Your moustache as it grows naturally, the more natural the better! You may shape it but without the use of any pomades, waxes, or other products.
NO - Styling aids NOT allowed
B. Styled -Your moustache creatively styled and shaped through the use of pomades, waxes, creams, and other products and styling tools.
YES - Styling aids allowed
Partial Beard - Natural and Stylized
Fu Manchus, Zappas, Amish, Klingon, Hipster, Hulihee - you got 'em we love em.
A beard that covers much of the face but does not connect entirely all the way around. This category will include sideburns/chops that are connected to the moustache but not the beard.
A. Natural -Your partial beard as it grows naturally, the more natural the better! You may shape it with trimming but without the use of any pomades, waxes, or other products

B. Styled -Your partial beard creatively styled and shaped through the use of pomades, waxes, creams, and other products and styling tools.

Full Beard - Natural and Stylized
Grizzlies, ZZ Top, Garibaldi, Bandholdz, Santa, The Kristoffersen - Glorious. Just glorious.
A beard that covers the entire face connecting all the way around. This category will include sideburns/chops that connect to the moustache and beard.

These beards use creative materials in their construction. They do not necessarily follow the traditional structure of a beard or moustache in size or dimension. They can be artistic and abstract representations of beards and or moustaches, or traditional and realistic representations of a beard and or moustache. The most realistic looking beard does not necessarily win. The "realism" of a beard is one factor among many to be judged, just as length does not win every comp but must be factored in with width, color and overall look.
